Córdoba and Granada

This week we took an excursion to historic cities of Córdoba and Granada to look at great works of art and architecture, appreciate the streets, listen to flamenco music, and celebrate Andalusian culture and food.

After a hot day at la Alhambra everyone was tired, but once hearing that we were going to have lunch, finally, the frown turned into a smile.

We got so see La Alhambra at night

Many old mosques were turned into chapels, cathedrals and churches. This left us the art and architecture of both of spiritual traditions.

We were there briefly, but the Roman bridge of Córdoba has been there for more millennia.

First week of classes

We started classes earlier this week and had our regular lunch and the school dinning hall. Spanish diet include legumes, sea food, vegetales, crusty bread, fruit for dessert and a healthy dose of futbol.

Since the weather has been nice, we went out to play and have fun.
As temperatures will soon start to rise, we will take our sport activities to the pool.
